Job Details
Responsibilities:
Designing and developing new control systems and strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Implement and modify HMI, PLC, and robotic logic.
Testing, maintaining, and modifying existing systems to optimize operations.
Update and maintain documentation for electrical schematics and operational instructions.
Collaborating with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform maintenance and updates to maximize system reliability and efficiency.
Explore advancements in IoT, Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing for better automation and connectivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Controls Engineering role supporting manufacturing.
Expertise in Ladder Logic and Allen Bradley PLCs; GuardLogix experience is preferred.
Proficiency in robotic systems.
Strong electrical and electronic system troubleshooting capabilities.
Preferred proficiency with tools including PanelBuilder, RSView 32, FT View, VisionWare, MotionWare, RSLogix (5, 500, 5000), Studio 5000, Ignition, Fanuc RoboGuide, Cognex Vision Tools, Keyence Vision Tools, and AutoCAD is preferred.
Experience with 480V electrical power is required.
