Position: PRU Controls Manufacturing Engineer (CME)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Bills of Material (BOMs) for control system retrofits and upgrades, creating control console manufacturing layout drawings, and serving as a liaison between Engineering and Production. You will develop new custom parts and associated Source Control Drawings (SCDs), resolve production and quality issues related to component specifications, and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability. You will work closely with Controls Design Engineers and the broader PRU project team throughout the sales order execution process.

Why Join Us?

If you're looking to expand your technical expertise in Solar's package systems while contributing to an exciting and rapidly growing aftermarket organization, this position is for you.

What you will have:

What will set you apart:

  • Strong understanding of controls, manufacturing, and testing processes, as well as industry best practices.

  • Working knowledge of control system components and design principles.

  • Working knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems (Promis-e preferred).

  • Working knowledge of BOM change management, ERP systems, and parts demand planning tools.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding component specifications, certifications, and technical documentation.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, adapt to changing demands, and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
