    Controls Service Technician – BAS – Dallas, TX – Top-Tier Building Automation & Mechanical Contractor

    About the Role:

    A leading building automation and mechanical construction firm is seeking an experienced Controls Service Technician for their Dallas metro operations.     Position Details:

    • Title: Controls Service Technician III/IV
    • Location: Dallas, TX (metro territory)
    • Pay Rate: $40.00 – $45.00/hr (annualized total not to exceed $95,000)
    • Overtime: Available
    • On-Call Rotation: Required
    • Vehicle: Company vehicle with gas card provided

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, troubleshoot, and service HVAC control systems and related BAS equipment
    • Write and modify BAS programs from scratch, including sequence rewrites and database configuration
    • Develop and revise front-end graphics and user interface elements
    • Perform commissioning, point-to-point checkout, and functional system testing
    • Support preventive maintenance, system repairs, and periodic updates
    • Ensure BAS cybersecurity compliance and manage software versioning for client systems
    • Communicate effectively with building owners, end-users, and contractors

    Qualifications:

    • Tridium/Niagara programming experience required
    • Experience with Siemens, Distech, or JCI systems is a plus
    • Strong understanding of BAS hardware, networks, and field devices
    • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and integration documentation
    • Experience commissioning equipment on new construction and retrofit projects
