Specify the controls hardware for projects including PLC selection, HMI Selection, Safety System hardware, vision systems, sensor, etc.
Create Submittals for each control hardware component.
Create the schematic prints for an automated system.
Create panel layouts.
Support system startups.
Create and compile turn over packages including the writing of User/Maintenance manuals and compiling OEM equipment documentation used on a project.
Education & Training
High school diploma or equivalent, required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferred
Skills & Experience
Proficiency in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
CAD experience (AutoCad Electrical Preferred)
Working Knowledge of “High” Voltage Equipment & Circuits (230-1000 VAC/DC)
Motor Starters
Variable Frequency & Servo Drives
Induction Motors, Linear & Servo Motors
Transformers
Robot Controllers
Industrial Control Panels
Working Knowledge of “Low” Voltage Equipment & Control Circuits (24VDC / 120VAC)
