JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Perform machine controls validation and testing activities.
- Collect and analyze machine performance data.
- Troubleshoot CAN, Ethernet, and control system issues.
- Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
- Conduct field testing on off-highway/heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform machine controls validation and testing.
- Collect, analyze, and report machine performance data.
- Troubleshoot control systems, CAN, and Ethernet communication issues.
- Support software flashing, calibration, and system integration activities.
- Conduct field testing on heavy/off-highway equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve machine performance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering field.
- 1+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, Validation, or Testing.
- Experience with machine controls, CAN communication, and Ethernet networks.
- Familiarity with software flashing, calibration, and system integration.
- Experience with data collection, troubleshooting, and validation testing.
- Exposure to heavy equipment, automotive, or off-highway machines is preferred.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of machine controls systems and validation testing.
- Experience with CAN, J1939, and Ethernet communication protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems.
- Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Software flashing, calibration, and system integration experience.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
