This role offers opportunities for meaningful work, professional development, and a focus on physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing.What you will do Perform assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.Respond to basic warranty calls.Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of service.Load system-level controller software.Perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators) and complete all required commissioning documentation.Keep management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.Complete administrative tasks including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training; maintain a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure the facility runs efficiently, including upselling opportunities.Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.What we look for Required: Demonstrated technical aptitude; ability to use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws); basic computer skills; attention to detail; effective communication and listening skills; depending on location, mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.Preferred: Two years of experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems; demonstrated knowledge of HVAC systems.Compensation and benefits Hourly range: $23.00 - $31.73; rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data.Competitive benefits package, including 401(k), medical, dental, and vision care; available on day one.Paid vacation/holidays/sick time (10 days first year) and extensive product and on-the-job/cross-training opportunities.Company vehicle, tools, and equipment provided to complete all jobs.JCI employee discount programs.Additional information To support an efficient and fair hiring process, we may use technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to help identify and evaluate candidates.
