Controls Technician-2nd Shift

Title: Controls Technician
Location: Veedersburg, IN
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Shift : 2nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pm - Monday through Friday
Compensation:$80,000 - $85,000 plus paid overtime

Must have Skill Set: 

• Must have PLC troubleshooting experience
• Must have hands-on experience editing, modifying, and manipulating PLC code
• Must have experience troubleshooting automated industrial equipment
• Must have experience troubleshooting electrical, hardware, and software issues
• Proven experience diagnosing and resolving controls-related equipment problems

Overview:

Job Duties: 

• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Edit, modify, and manipulate existing PLC code to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Diagnose and repair automation and control-system issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hardware, software, and instrumentation problems.
• Support equipment startups, retrofits, and process improvements.
• Test and maintain automated manufacturing systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support calls as needed.

Qualifications: 

• Must have proven PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Must have proven experience editing, modifying, and manipulating PLC code.
• Must have experience troubleshooting automated industrial equipment.
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Technical degree, certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
