• ​The Control Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial control systems and automation equipment. This role ensures reliable operation of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and control networks to support a safe and efficient production process.​
  

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systemsPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on control equipmentCalibrate and maintain field instruments (pressure, flow, temperature, level)Analyze systems faults and implement corrective actions Support continuous improvement and automation projects Read and Interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics Work with maintenance and operations team to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (e.g. OSHA)Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and systems changes Software, Platforms & Tools PLC Programming Software Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000 / RS Logix 5000)Siemens - optional HMI / SCADA Platforms Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation) - visualization, alarming, reporting and database integration Factory Talk View / Factory Talk SE & ME Industrial Networking & CommunicationEthernet/IP, Modbus (RTU/TCP), Profibus, ProfinetNetwork troubleshooting tools (wireshark, RSLinx)FIIX CMMS PM or similar platformsDrives & Motion SoftwareData & Diagnosis ToolsIgnition Tag Historian and report modulesTrend and diagnostics tools for process analysisAdditional toolsCalibration software and handheld communicators (HART, Field Communicator)Laptop-based diagnostic and programming tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with industrial control systemsStrong knowledge of the following:PLCs (Allen-Bradley)Motor control systems and VFDs - VFD Programming is requiredIndustrial networks (ethernet/IP, Modbus)Ability to trouble shoot and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systemsFamiliarity with safety practices such as LOTO and arc flash is nice to have.
