I’m currently partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturing organization that is looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their team supporting high frequency induction heating and melting systems across North America.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and hands-on work with highly technical industrial equipment.

Job Details

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot induction heating and melting systems
  • Work with high-voltage AC/DC electrical systems ranging from 480V to 3000+ volts
  • Support PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, furnaces, and material handling systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Train customers and support field personnel as needed
  • Complete service reports and documentation after assignments

What They’re Looking For:
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or equivalent military experience
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, Hi-Pots, and frequency generators
  • Strong troubleshooting skills within industrial, electrical, or mechanical environments
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 70%
  • Valid driver’s license and passport or ability to obtain one

Preferred Experience:
  • Induction heating or melting equipment experience
  • PLC/HMI troubleshooting experience
  • Industrial manufacturing or heavy equipment background
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
