Job Description

Coordinate customer events by scheduling meetings including tastings, tours and other customer needs and make appropriate recommendations.
Meet with customer to ascertain needs and wishes regarding room size, timelines and logistics, providing guidance & information.
Responsible to work parties and events that include flexibility in hours and days of shifts worked.
Respond to inquiries (phone, mail, internet, in person)
Maintain weekly and monthly convention calendar; monitor and coordinate timeline of events.
Schedule coordinating appointments and meetings with guests and appropriate department staff (i.e. chefs, maintenance, etc).
Executive administrative details including event plans, contracts, billing and all necessary paper work start to finish.
Oversee set up, arrangement of tables and décor; monitor meal services and accuracy; and ensure services agreed upon are delivered.
Onsite coordination during events (days, nights, weekends) ensuring quality standards are met at all times.
Provide post event assessment.
Maintain casino package program for convention events including assembling, monitoring and tracking.
Participate in marketing department functions and meetings as directed.
Provide necessary reports as requested.
Attend classes, seminar and other continuing education to continue growth.
Promote the convention center by attending trade shows, bridal events, and other promotional events.
Perform other duties as assigned.
