Volt is immediately hiring for Conventional Small OD Grinder - 2nd Shift in Valencia CA As a Conventional Small OD Grinder - 2nd Shift you will Perform conventional grinding of landing gear components using machinery such as Gap Grinders OD Grinders ID Grinders FlatSurface Grinder Set up and machine operations on high strength steel and aluminum parts. May run one or more machines on a regular basis Ensuring that machine work meets dimensional tolerances as noted on shop planning and that defects are removed within specified limits Inspect parts visually and dimensionally and perform clean-up operations as required such as deburr and breaking of edges Follow all safety hazardous-material and environmental regulations OSHA EPA SCAQMD and comply with clean-room or controlled-environment protocols where required.
