Join Armorstack’s CITADEL Practice — Waukesha, WI (Hybrid/Field • Serving WI and the Upper Midwest)

Our platform

Armorstack is a Managed Intelligence Provider unifying cybersecurity (SENTRY), IT (CORE), advisory (VERITY), and physical security (CITADEL). With 23+ years in the region, we deliver Absolute Physical Integrity with access control, video, intrusion, low-voltage, fire alarm systems, and life safety—integrated into our AI-powered 24/7 SOC.

Why this role exists

Demand is accelerating for code-compliant, integrated fire and life safety that connects on-premise events to real-time SOC intelligence. We’re expanding our Fire Alarm & Life Safety Practice—and we need a builder who can own growth.

Your impact

  • Scale a high-growth line by targeting new construction, system retrofits, monitoring/integration, and maintenance contracts across Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest.
  • Win mid-market opportunities in healthcare, manufacturing, education, financial services, government contractors, and commercial properties.
  • Create a durable pipeline through outbound prospecting and a network of architects, engineers, GCs, facility managers, and AHJs—plus referrals from existing clients.
  • Run discovery and executive briefings that prove the value of CITADEL + SENTRY for fewer false alarms, faster incident response, and measurable risk reduction.
  • Co-design solutions with CITADEL engineers, SENTRY SOC analysts, and VERITY advisors—aligned to NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and Wisconsin SPS codes—with clear ROI (compliance, TCO, resilience).
  • Cross-sell access control, video surveillance, cybersecurity, and IT services around the fire/life safety anchor.
  • Own RFPs, proposals, demos, negotiations, and handoffs to delivery for a clean close-to-delivery motion.
  • Measure what matters: pipeline health, win rates, revenue, and practice expansion; iterate GTM assets and processes.
  • Stay current on addressable systems, wireless, mass notification, and AI-enhanced detection; track regulatory developments.
  • Represent Armorstack at Wisconsin fire safety organizations, ASIS, and NFPA chapters to build brand and source leads.

12–18 month outcomes

  • Exceed revenue and growth targets for the Fire Alarm & Life Safety line.
  • Maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline with strong win rates and client satisfaction.
  • Land marquee integrated wins (e.g., multi-site healthcare or manufacturing) that validate the converged MIP model.
  • Strengthen Armorstack’s position as Wisconsin’s intelligent, integrated physical security leader.

Must-haves

  • 5+ years in fire alarm/life safety/physical security/low-voltage sales or BD (construction and/or services).
  • Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, Wisconsin fire/building codes, AHJ processes, and major technologies/manufacturers.
  • History of closing complex, consultative sales in regulated industries from mid-market to enterprise.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to translate technical depth into business value.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license; regular in-state travel (primarily daytime; occasional evening networking/events).

Nice-to-haves

  • Converged or integrated security sales experience (physical + cybersecurity monitoring or IT services).
  • Existing Wisconsin relationships with A/Es, contractors, facility leaders, and fire safety professionals.
  • Comfort with compliance frameworks: HIPAA, CMMC, SOC 2, NIST.
  • NICET and/or manufacturer credentials; BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Hunter DNA paired with collaborative execution in a fast-growing MIP team.

What you get

  • Lead a differentiated practice inside a converged platform competitors struggle to replicate.
  • Waukesha HQ base with a Wisconsin-first focus; benefit from 23+ years of stability and quick decision cycles.
  • Compensation: competitive base + uncapped commission tied to practice growth; potential vehicle or allowance, phone stipend, performance bonuses.
  • Benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), and professional development including certification support.
  • Culture: outcomes-driven, collaborative, balanced—focused on AI-enhanced and converged security innovation.
  • Quality of life: Wisconsin affordability, outdoor recreation, family-friendly communities.
