Position: Conversion Lead (2nd Shift)
Locations: Huntington Beach, CA
Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm OFF Sun/Mon
Job Summary
The Conversion Lead is responsible for supervising all personnel and operations during the assigned shift. This role ensures adherence to client's policies while driving manufacturing production to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead all manufacturing staff and machine operations during the shift.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all conversion processes and equipment.
Identify, report, and resolve workflow or equipment issues; escalate to the Conversion Manager or Plant Engineers when necessary.
Monitor and report employee training progress.
Organize and coordinate work activities for efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and procedures.
Verify product identification, weights, and proper warehousing practices.
Communicate plant status, production updates, and instructions to the next shift.
Take responsibility for processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping within the assigned area, ensuring production meets quality and quantity standards.
Complete and review safety incident reports following workplace accidents.
Communicate production status and issues with the planning office.
Troubleshoot operational and production challenges as they arise.
Maintain current forklift certification and complete annual testing requirements.
Identify and report potential safety hazards to supervisors or management.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
