Essential Duties and Tasks

This position is responsible for operating converting bag machinery as well as ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and providing TECHNICAL leadership and training to a team of operators to meet production targets.  Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Operate a Converting Bag Machine with technical expertise
• Lead and coach a team of converting operators to meet production goals, coordinating or assisting with activities of team members as necessary.
• Monitors processes to address issues, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency, seeks out opportunities to improve established manufacturing practices, and anticipates, and anticipates inefficiencies, bringing constructive solutions.
• Enforces quality control measures to meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions, collaborating with maintenance teams and any other applicable departments.
• Trains and provides mentorship to employees.
• Support an environment that aligns with ProAmpac's core values and safety protocols
• Communicates production status and performance trends to management.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• HS/GED required; AS preferred
• 3+ years' experience operating a machine or in a related filed is required
• Prior experience operating converting machines is preferred 
• Prior Leadership experience preferred.

Hours:

• 223 Rotating Schedule 
• Nights | 7pm- 7am  
• ***Training done on Day shift
