Converts/Event-Driven Research Analyst

Investment Analyst - Relative Value / Convertibles (4-7 YOE):

We're working with a top-performing, multi-strategy relative value hedge fund looking to add an Investment Analyst to its team. The firm has a long-standing track record across market cycles and a strong reputation for disciplined risk management and differentiated trading strategies.

This is a highly analytical role focused on convertible securities, capital structure opportunities, and event-driven investments, offering broad exposure across both credit and equity markets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct deep fundamental analysis across issuers, capital structures, and securities
• Evaluate relative value opportunities across convertibles, equities, and credit
• Support trade idea generation and portfolio construction
• Partner closely with PMs on live positions, hedging strategies, and risk management

Ideal background:

• 4-7 years of experience

• Background in:

• Investment Banking (M&A or Restructuring)

• Credit Research (HY / distressed)

• Equity Research

• Strong ability to analyze both balance sheets and valuation

• High intellectual curiosity with a clear interest in markets and investing
