Conveyor Field Crew

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Conveyor Belt Field Crew member for our client, in Apache Junction, AZ, an industrial conveyor systems company supporting industries such as mining, aggregate, and pulp and paper. This is a field-based role focused on installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments.

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $25–$32/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time Field Work

Key Responsibilities
• Perform installation, removal, and replacement of conveyor belting systems in field environments
• Execute or assist with belt splicing using vulcanized and cold bond methods including lap, finger, and steel cable splices
• Perform or assist with pulley lagging, belt alignment, and system adjustments to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and related mechanical components
• Work independently or as part of a crew on field service jobs
• Operate safely around moving machinery and follow all safety procedures including PPE
• Work in a variety of industrial environments including mines, aggregate sites, and pulp and paper facilities
• Work at heights and in physically demanding conditions as required

Required Qualifications
• Experience in physically demanding, hands-on work environments such as construction, concrete, masonry, wildland firefighting, industrial labor, or similar trades
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience working with tools and equipment in outdoor or industrial settings
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, crouching, and climbing
• Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, field-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with conveyor systems, belt installation, or industrial maintenance
• Experience with vulcanized or cold bond splicing methods
• Field service experience in mining, aggregate, or heavy industrial environments
• Millwright or mechanical maintenance background

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in field environments supporting industrial conveyor systems, with occasional time spent in a shop or local setting. Work may take place in mining, aggregate, or pulp and paper facilities and involves exposure to outdoor conditions, heavy equipment, and moving machinery. The position requires physical labor, working at heights, and adherence to strict safety standards. PPE and safety compliance are required at all times.
