About the Role - Cook 1

Cook 1 is an entry level culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience, along with strong communication abilities. This is typically a production role that involves close supervision and ongoing training. Full and flexible availability is required as this position will involve both morning and evening shifts.

Wage Information:

The hourly wage for this position is $25.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Previous line or hotel experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Capable of performing repetitious duties
