What You'll Do

  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs.

  • Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and served safely.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.

  • Assist with inventory, food storage, and kitchen organization.

  • Support special events, retreats, and catering as needed.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.

  • Provide friendly, respectful service to Sisters, guests, and coworkers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, assisted living, or similar food service setting.

  • Valid California Food Handler Card.

  • Experience preparing meals from standardized recipes.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
