The Cook is responsible for preparing and assisting in the service of all meals to clients and staff within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS: • Able to read, write, and understand English. • Prior cooking experience. • Able to work with children. • Flexible schedule depending on departmental needs. • Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
JOB DUTIES: • Comply with policies on dress code and cell phone use at work. • Hot and cold food preparation. • Work with basic standardized recipe system. • Follow daily cycle menu and production worksheets to include special diets and recording of daily food usage. • Overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas. • Involvement in portion planning and recipe development. • Pulling stock from freezer for future preparation.
