Overview:

Lorien Columbia is looking to hire a Dietary Cook to join our team. 

 

We are looking for a cheerful and enthusiastic cook who is eager to seek out new cooking methods/principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices.

 

Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of Dietary procedures 
Batch Cooking
Sanitation Knowledge
Proper Knife Skills
Integrity and a strong work ethic
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed 
Serve Safe certification- huge plus!

Qualifications:

• Full Time, Part Time and PRN Hours
• Schedule: 5a-2p or 11:30a-8p
• Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

   

 

Lorien Columbia has been in the heart of Howard County, MD since 1977 and is the first of 9 Lorien facilities. Our facility includes skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient therapy, as well as the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County with 205 beds total, 5 nursing units.
