Description Location: UCHlth Greeley Hospital, USCO, Greeley Department: GH Food Nutrition Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period, 2 weeks Shift: Day and Evening Rotation Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 hour. Pay is dependent on applicants relevant experience. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

Summary Cooks and prepares food for distribution to patients, the cafeteria, and catering services.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menu and special orders to determine types and quantities of food items to be prepared.
• Follows standardized recipes in preparation of all foods.
• Plans cooking schedule with supervisor and/or exec chef to ensure food will be ready at specified times.
• Confers with supervisor and/or exec chef regarding modified diet preparation and use of leftovers.
• Adheres to all applicable guidelines regarding the storage, handling, and preparation of food as well as in the sanitation and maintenance of work area.
• Within scope of job requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or in lieu of HSGED satisfactory completion of UCHealth-administered basic competency test is required.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience.
