Job Summary
The Cook must prepare food of consistently excellent quality. The cook will assist in all kitchen functions, maintaining a clean environment, communicating well with all associates.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Cook's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Follows recipe cards and portion standards.
- Prepares food ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs.
- Dates all food containers and rotates them, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Assists in setting up plans and takes action to correct any food cost problems; controls food waste, loss and usage.
- Operates, maintains and properly cleans deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill.
- Complies with attendance rules and is available to work on a regular basis.
- Completes duties and confirms on shift checklist as assigned.
- Has the ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 lbs. (See full physical requirements below.)
- Various other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements - Cooking experience required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all food and beverage staff.

Work Requirements - Ability to withstand frequent extreme changes in temperature
