Legacy Staffing has partnered with a world-class hospital in Medina, OH to hire a Cook. This is a full-time, first shift opportunity working every weekend on a rotating schedule of 5 days (8.5-hour shifts, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM) and 6 days (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). The pay rate starts at $15/hour based on experience and skill level. This role focuses on preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced healthcare kitchen environment while maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety standards.
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, measuring, stocking, and organizing ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation while following all sanitation and health regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Support overall kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant cooking or line cook experience.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen sanitation procedures.
Shift Details:
• Every weekend, alternating:
- 5 days/week, 8.5-hour shifts (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
- 6 days/week, 9-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
