As a Cook, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by preparing high-quality meals and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

Your Mission:

Are you someone who takes pride in preparing great food and enjoys being part of a team?

As a Cook, you’ll work alongside our Dining Services team to prepare meals for residents, guests, and special events while helping ensure our kitchen meets high standards for quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and assist with high-quality meals for residents and guests
• Complete food preparation for upcoming meals as assigned
• Assist with special functions and catered events
• Follow opening and closing procedures and checklists
• Properly store food and supplies
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and work area
• Communicate food and inventory needs to Dining Services leadership
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices
• Work collaboratively with members of the Dining Services team
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Two years of cooking experience preferred
• General knowledge of special diets is helpful
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
• Ability to read and understand instructions and communicate effectively
• Dependability, flexibility, and a commitment to providing excellent service
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of the position
