About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Cook to lead our catering team at Kirkbymoorside School, serving approximately 110 meals each day.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

• Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for students and staff.
• Lead and support the catering team to deliver an excellent service.
• Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained.
• Organise food ordering, stock control and kitchen administration.
• Supervise team members and support their day-to-day activities.
• Set up and clear down dining areas.
• Carry out washing up and general kitchen duties.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about producing healthy, high-quality meals.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• A positive team player with good leadership skills.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Experienced in catering, food preparation and kitchen management.

The role is term time only, with no weekend work. You'll receive equal monthly payments throughout the year.
