Cook - Senior Living

$18.35 to $19.65 an hour, out by 2 PM every day, and every other weekend off. Cook breakfast and lunch for the seniors who live at Bristol Glen in Newton, with health, dental, and vision insurance and a 403(b) with employer match.

What you'll do:

• Cook breakfast and lunch using our standard recipes and portion sizes
• Serve food that looks good, tastes good, and is held at safe temperatures
• Follow food safety, allergy, and sanitation rules from prep through cleanup
• Help with catered events, holiday meals, and on-site retail food service
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized
• Work with the dining team to get every meal out on time

What you'll need

Required:

• Ability to read recipes and food labels, and to talk with the team about food safety and resident allergies
• 1 to 2 years of cooking experience. Restaurant, school, hospital, and senior living kitchens all count.

• $18.35 to $19.65 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time, 5 days a week, 5:30 AM to 2 PM
