Fat Tuesday Sherman Oaks is looking for a talented and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team in Sherman Oaks, CA! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to kitchen management
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order execution
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients
• Adapt to a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment during peak service hours

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards (ServSafe a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
