    Description

    Main Kitchen Cook 
     
    Part-Time (16 hours/week) | 10:00 am - 6:30 pm | Every other weekend rotation 
    Pay Range: $18.00 – $24.83/hour (based on experience)

    Responsibilities
    • Review food menus and work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared and any therapeutic diets.
    • Prepare and serve meals as specified in menus and recipes using Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.
    • Maintain stock of food, beverage items and supplies along with marking time and date for all food items.
    • Assist in serving meals and clearing the dining area.
    What You'll Bring
    • Prior experience working in food service, is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, recipes, and food preparation methods. 
    • Strong verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards. 
    • ServSafe knowledge, is preferred.
    • Commitment to maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time and work in extreme hot and cold conditions. 
    • Must be able to work within standard policy and procedures and work with limited direct supervision.
    • Must have the ability to handle a variety of tasks and functions and react calmly in emergency situations.
    • Must work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
