We are hiring immediately for a temporary Cook position at a healthcare facility in Alton, IL. This role offers a flexible schedule with day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, and is a temporary to permanent opportunity with a pay rate of $16.50/hour.
- Assist in preparing high-quality meals following standardized recipes and food safety standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and food temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment operation and storage.
- Follow safety protocols and help with inventory, record keeping, and equipment maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure efficient food service and uphold quality standards.
