RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the preparation of food items. We have a diverse menu that requires speed and accurate preparation and you should feel proud of each item you prepare.
Our Kitchen is well designed with large working areas. We have Line Cook positions in Salad Fry Sauté Grill and Make Up along with Kitchen Prep Cooks.
Responsible for maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of your surroundings in the kitchen.
Working as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food items.
Prepares food with proper safety equipment tools and recipe standards.
Restocks kitchen and cook line as needed.
Commitment to food safety cleanliness job safety and sanitation standards.
Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift carry or move up to 30 lbs.
Able to work in hot and cold environments.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift.
Frequent bending reaching kneeling squatting and stooping.
Manual dexterity to handle glassware utensils and technology systems.
Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Visual ability to include distance close color depth and peripheral. Also the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
For all California based positions Responsible Beverage Service Certifications Required can be completed during training and up to 60 days after start date.
