ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Prepare, cook, and serve breakfast and lunch for North High School. Run the Point of Service (POS) station during meal service and count and record money accurately. Learn and have a strong understanding of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program guidelines. Estimate the amount of food needed for orders and work with the lead on this. Use good judgment in heating lunches, bringing food to the required temperature to kill bacteria, and adjusting the oven temperature and heating time in accordance with what is being heated. Keep accurate milk records. Fill out paperwork in a timely manner.

Do daily, end-of-year, and other periodical clean-up and sanitization of all equipment and storage units. Report all malfunctioning equipment. Perform other duties related to work as directed by the Lead Cook, Nutrition Supervisor, or the Coordinator of School Nutrition.
