Key Responsibilities
- Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations for efficient service
- Prepare food by cleaning, cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Plate dishes following senior chef’s guidance to ensure visual appeal and quality
- Collaborate with fellow cooks to maintain a team-focused approach to food production and service
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock according to kitchen schedules
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, ideally in a high-end restaurant setting
- Familiarity with diverse cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
- Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Sharp attention to detail with multitasking ability under pressure
- Knowledge of meat, poultry, and seafood preparation is a plus
