    Cookie Baking Production Associate
    Full Time
     
    Are you passionate about baking? At Dorothy Lane Market, our Central Bakery works around the clock creating the delicious desserts, pastries, cookies, and artisan breads our customers love. We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our Cookie Baking team. Whether you are an experienced baker or someone looking to sharpen your culinary skills, this is a great opportunity to learn, create, and grow with a talented bakery team. This position requires some flexibility around holidays and busy seasons.
     
    What You’ll Do:
    • Prepare and bake a variety of cookies and bakery products
    • Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
    • Operate mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment safely and efficiently
    • Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality
    • Ensure cookies are baked consistently and meet quality standards
    • Package and label finished products accurately and efficiently
    • Follow recipes, production procedures, and food safety standards
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
    • Work efficiently to meet daily production needs and deadlines
    • Communicate and collaborate with fellow bakery associates
    • Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
    • Food safety expertise.
    •  A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
    • A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values:Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working.
    • Effective communication skills
    • Basic mathematical skills.
    • 18 years or older.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Standing for long periods of time.
    • Lifting to 50 pounds.
    • Must have holiday and weekend availability.
