POSITION SUMMARY

Borden Dairy is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Cooler Loadout Worker. In this hands-on role, you will support the manufacturing and distribution process by performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing finished products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Transfer finished products manually or using material handling equipment.
  • Load, unload, stack, and move ingredients or products as assigned.
  • Sort, bundle, and package items or assemble product units.
  • Label product loads and ensure proper identification.
  • Record stock movement in and out of designated work areas.
  • Monitor materials, products, and equipment throughout the process and report any irregularities to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete assigned sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food-grade products.
  • Ability to accurately record data.
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company, per location requirements.
  • Supports team and organizational goals through additional duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Routinely lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Frequently pull loads up to 270 lbs using a pull rod while walking in reverse.
  • Perform frequent physical activities including lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Work for extended periods in cold, damp environments.
  • Maintain constant mental focus and situational awareness to ensure safety and efficiency.
