Job Description
- Maintain records of inventory quantity, type, and value.
- Perform daily physical inventory counts and update inventory records.
- Compare physical counts to system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Check in delivery drivers and inspect returning trailers.
- Verify returned and damaged products and re-enter items into inventory.
- Check product quality and remove poor-quality or spoiled produce.
- Sort through pallets of damaged or spoiled products.
- Repack produce efficiently to reduce spoilage and lost inventory.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Experience in accounting, accounting administrative support, inventory control, or a related area.
- Comfortable with keyboarding and filing.
- Ability to work in a dry, cooler, and freezer warehouse environment.
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, reach above shoulder level, stand, crawl, and climb.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry more than 20 lbs.
- Steel-toe shoes or boots required.
