Your day, at a glance
Begin by confirming the calibration status of the Zeiss CMM and preparing fixtures and probes.
Author and optimize Calypso programs for new and existing components, referencing CAD and model-based definitions.
Decode engineering drawings and apply GD&T to create robust, repeatable measurement routines.
Execute inspections, validate measurement accuracy, and make on-the-fly refinements to improve cycle time and reliability.
Compile data-rich reports and communicate results to Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve issues quickly.
Contribute to cross-functional problem-solving and maintain a clean, safe, and organized metrology area.
What youll bring
3+ years of hands-on CMM programming experience.
Proficiency with Zeiss CMM hardware and Calypso software (strongly preferred).
Expertise in GD&T and interpreting blueprints/CAD models.
Proven precision measurement capabilities and attention to detail.
Preferred
Background in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites inspection.
Bilingual communication skills.
Familiarity with composites and thermosets.

Where youll work
A climate-controlled manufacturing environment equipped with state-of-the-art CNC and metrology tools. Expect periods of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional noise and composite dust (PPE provided). Some schedule flexibility for shift coverage may be needed.
Youll directly support aerospace applications while leading technical improvements and mentoring teammates.
