Location: Hattie Mae White \n \nDepartment: Student Experiences - North \n \nArea:District Wide \n \nContract Months:12 \n \nSalary Range: $85,000.00 \u2013 $105,000.00 \n \nAcademic Year: 25-26 \n \nJOB SUMMARY\n \nThe Coordinator 2 - Student Experiences will work with a high performing collaborative team focused on providing all students with opportunities to experiential learning preparing them for a Year 2035 world and workforce mastering competencies in informational literary, critical thinking, problem solving, communications, creativity, and collaboration\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n \n1. In collaboration with the Dyad Team, development, and implementation of the TFS-TX \n \nexperiential learning program for grades 6th - 8th\n \n2. Leading and hiring a team of Dyad consultant's subject matter experts to ensure the \n \ntransfer of knowledge, skills, and perspectives in extraordinary subject areas\n \n3. Ensuring accurate and timely record keeping and reporting of invoicing for consultants' \n \npayroll\n \n4. Oversee team of Dyad consultants in a high-performance environment\n \n5 Maintain robust pipeline of candidates for Dyad consultant positions to ensure choice for \n \nstudents\n \n6. Writing curriculum for elective student courses incorporating project-based learning\n \n7. Writing curriculum for elective student courses incorporating 21st century skills such as \n \nproblem-solving, critical thinking, virtual reality, graphic design, and communication\n \nMAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED\n \n8. Tracking 6th - 8th grade students in multiple school systems to ensure Dyad course and \n \nexperiential requirements are met before students move up to the next grade level\n \n9. Working with parents and community programs to verify student enrollment and \n \ninvolvement in local organizations, clubs, and volunteer opportunities\n \n10. Developing and piloting experiential learning programs for students\n \n11. Organizing community events to showcase student work and talent\n \n12. Assisting in the development of afterschool and summer programs for students\n \n13. Develop, implement, and provide budget accountability for field trips for students' grades \n \n6th - 8th. This will include local field trips, as well as overnight and international field trips\n \n14. Creating and developing efficient and effective workflows, protocols, and processes\n \n15. Ensure security, maintenance, and inventory of program equipment\n \n16. Travel to multiple campuses required\n \n17. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.\n \nEDUCATION\n \nMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree required.\n \nWORK EXPERIENCE\n \n3-5 years Preference given to those with experience in successfully implementing an experiential learning program for students. Preference given to individuals with experience in data analysis and creation of workflows and protocols.\n \nSKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION\n\n Knowledge of K-12 instructional strategies and standards\n Passion for education and a kids-first mindset\n Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills\n Ability to develop and manage multiple complex projects\n Strategic and tactical project management skills\n Excellent time management skills\n Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively as a team or independently\n Ability to thrive in a high-performance culture\n \nLEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES\n \nWork Leadership. Regularly provides project management or team leadership to a group of two or more employees, but does not have formal supervisory responsibility. Leading and directing typically involves monitoring work and providing guidance on escalated issues. Most of work time is spent performing many of same duties they are leading.\n \nWORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT\n \nWork involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.\n \nBUDGET AUTHORITY\n \nNo budget development activity is required.\n \nPROBLEM SOLVING\n \nDecisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude, but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.\n \nIMPACT OF DECISIONS\n \nDecisions have minor, small and possibly incremental impact on the department or facility.
