This position will coordinate transfer and articulation processes by creating, renewing, and maintaining articulation agreements. The coordinator will maintain current knowledge of transfer program requirements, State and board transfer policies, and curricular changes at Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) that impact articulation. Transfer articulation work will be completed with partner institutions. The coordinator will work collaboratively with internal and external, faculty, academic systems, and program advisors. Key focus on maintaining or creating articulation agreements and transfer plans. The coordinator will at times be the point of contact for transfer articulation processes. The coordinator will participate in training transfer student advising, staff and faculty to use transfer plans and resources created as part of the Student Transfer Success website. Additionally, the coordinator will preserve articulation agreements by adding work in progress to Planner, send agreements to signees, and archive in SharePoint library.
## Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Transfer Articulation: 
- Facilitate and maintain transfer articulation documentation under the supervision of the Director, Transfer Articulation on behalf of Associate Provost of Academic Systems.  
- Maintain current knowledge of SLCC transfer articulation programs and course requirements.  
- Work collaboratively to maintain articulation documentation and pathways information.  
- Ensure articulation information is accurate, consistent, and available.  
- Create, maintain, review, and support articulation plan updates on the Transfer Student Success webpage.  
- Maintain and update articulation processes and timeline grid in MS Planner, Teams, SharePoint, and all work saved to the Academic Systems>Articulation I: Drive.  
- Generate training materials annually for in person training with faculty and staff as often as needed.
- Strategically work through Curriculog, Summer Semester AD Chair meetings, and Fall Semester follow up meetings.  
- Provide timely updates regarding articulation agreements of all communication between SLCC faculty and partner institutions regarding pathways for students through articulation agreements.
- Ensure that all partnerships are aligned with appropriate departments, Associate Deans, Chairs, and any faculty assigned in processing articulation for their division.  
- Conduct program and course submission review through curriculum process to assure articulation is updated.  
- Build rapport and network with all articulation and transfer paths externally.  
- Assist the Director, Transfer Articulation as requested.
Transfer Collaboration: 
- Maintain current transfer information for students specific to transfer institutions' admission, scholarship, financial aid, orientation, and other policies and procedures.  
- Collaborate with SLCC Academic Advising, Student Transfer Success to ensure transfer advising (Transfer Plans and guides) information is accurate and available to students.  
- Assure we are connecting the correct staff and updating records for signatures.  
- Archive and keep records from the point of articulation creation to signatures and archiving.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Understand college structure and resources, curriculum and articulation, transfer initiatives and programming, and enrollment procedures such as registration, financial aid, and academic advising.
- Ability to lead discussions, create and deliver trainings to large and small groups, from college staff to administration. 
- Ability to n
etwork with faculty involved in the SLCC articulation processes by conducting face-to-face meetings throughout the Salt Lake Valley at our numerous campus locations. 
-  Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools in the Office 365 environment. 
- Demon trate teamwork and conflict resolution skills. 
- Ability and willingness to become a skilled user of technological tools and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of basic accounting skills needed for invoicing partners. 
- Ability to develop and share large amounts of university/college/department policies and program information. 
- Ability to send, collect and process agreements with all partners through Adobe sign. 
- Develop comprehensive understanding of transfer and articulation issues as they relate to SLCC transfer preparation programs and pathways.  
- Become conversant with SLCC and transfer services that meet students' academic and non-academic needs. 
- Ability to effectively multi-task and successfully manage projects from conception to completion. 
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. 
- Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
