Coordinator Athletic Equipment (Olympic Sports)

Position Function:
Assist in all aspects of the equipment operation for various Olympic sports including, but not limited to, receiving, inventory, issuance, use, and maintenance of equipment according to established policies and procedures.
Salary Grade: 13

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the equipment room(s) for assigned sports.
Coordinate with the team operations personnel to meet equipment needs for assigned sports.
Responsible for ordering of Adidas apparel and Adidas budget management for assigned sports.
As necessary, assist team operations personnel in ordering of sport specific equipment.
As required, ensure athletic equipment is properly set-up, cleaned, packed, transported and stored for practice and games, both home and away.
As required, execute fitting of all athletes in sport specific equipment ensuring proper fit and compliance with safety standards.
Assist with Athletic Department's shipping and receiving centralized facility.
Maintain detailed inventory records of all Adidas apparel for assigned sports.
For assigned sports, assist team operations personnel with managing locker and equipment room areas and for monitoring and advising on the security of these areas.
Assist in laundry operations of assigned sports, including, but not limited to, all game day laundry.
Comply with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeastern Conference (SEC) regulations in the performance of job duties.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science degree in related field with experience at a minimum of Post Graduate Internship and/or Graduate Assistantship.
Certification or Licensure Requirements:
Commercial Driver's License eligible; must be certified by AEMA or working towards certification.
