What Benefits Eligibility and Authorization contributes to Cardinal HealthBenefits Eligibility and Authorization verify patient specific health benefits.Benefits Eligibility and Authorization provides services to customers relating to medical billing, medical reimbursement, and/or other services by acting as a liaison in problem-solving, research and problem/dispute resolution.Job SummaryThe Benefits Eligibility & Authorization Coordinator will support the Hold Edit Post Shipment Review team by obtaining insurance-required documentation, reviewing and validating records, and entering applicable documentation into company systems to facilitate claim processing and billing. The role also involves ensuring documentation accuracy, meeting quality standards, and helping resolve post-shipment documentation issues to support timely reimbursement.ResponsibilitiesProcesses a backlog of orders that have already shipped with missing insurance required documentation.
