Job Title: Coordinator, Business Operations - Pediatrics - Oncology

Division: Pediatrics

Work Arrangement: Onsite only

Location: Houston, TX

Salary Range: $47,372 - $55,731

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Summary

The Coordinator, Business Operations provides support to the Hematology / Oncology department by processing purchasing orders, managing travel, maintaining calendars, and composing correspondence.

Job Duties

  • Prepares and processes purchasing orders.
  • Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
  • Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
  • Assists with calendar scheduling and maintenance.
  • Assists with timekeeping.
  • Submits expenses for reimbursement.
  • Inspects and troubleshoots shared department equipment and facilitates service calls as needed.
  • Provides additional support to faculty members as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in a business-related field may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Prior administrative support experience in an academic healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Concur.
