Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for compliance and contract coordination functions for assigned subsidiaries. Completes compliance department functions and activities including audits, investigations, compliance plan monitoring, risk assessments, compliance reports, and policy/procedure management. Completes contract management processes including contract reviews using MHC guidelines, drafting renewals/addendums, system workflow updates and system content maintenance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned:
In collaboration with Compliance Officer, identifies potential compliance concerns, conducts analysis, compliance audits and investigations to confirm or refute concern, assist to quantify potential impact and documents within compliance database.
Performs data collection and analysis for investigations of potential compliance issues and for other compliance activities including but not limited to reports, audits, reviews and investigations.
Coordinates with various departments to obtain information needed in conducting reviews, audits, investigations, and compliance plans.
In coordination with Compliance Officer or Compliance Data Analyst, conducts audits to determine if there is a compliance risk and conducts follow-up audits to confirm corrective actions have been effective in addressing the identified compliance risk.
Prepares, delivers, and tracks education related to the results of reviews, investigations and on general and specific compliance topics.
Assists with management and communications of policies, procedures, and Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, legal or health care related field
2 years contract management experience
Preferred:
CHC Certification from HCCA
One-year experience in Risk Assessments, Internal Audit, and/or Quality Improvement.
Medical chart review and data collection/management experience.
