    The Credit Coordinator is responsible for processing incoming Grocery Distribution credit applications, preparing credit analysis and making credit decisions within set parameters. Additional duties include assisting with certain Treasury functions related to electronic payment files, new customer setup and monitoring credit limit and approval compliance.

    What you'll do as a Credit Coordinator:

    • Review and balance reports daily and weekly.
    • Review Credit Application packages for completeness and communicate with Grocery Divisions regarding missing information.
    • Analyze credit information and make credit decisions within certain guidelines.
    • Review, balance and release electronic payment remittance files.
    • Provide credit reference information on behalf of our customers.
    • Setup banking information on customer accounts for payment drafting.
    • Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications you'll bring as a Credit Coordinator:

    • Have High School Diploma required.
    • Have College degree (preferred) or at least 3-years of experience in a like position.
    • Have experience with Excel and familiarity with mainframe computer usage.
    • Exhibit good decision-making skills.
    • Understand the organizational purpose and mission.
    • Be customer service oriented, to fulfill the needs of internal and external customers.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships, exchange ideas and opinions.
    • Be able to plan, organize, and manage own time and work.
    • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
