This is an intermediate management position charged with responsibility for facilitating and overseeing internal operations of the Criminal Division of the Office of Court Administration. The coordinator is responsible for executing and enforcing policies established by the Director. The coordinator operates with a moderate degree of independence in the execution of daily responsibilities. This position is supervised by, reports to, and acts upon authority delegated by the Criminal Division Director. High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration preferred. Two years of administrative experience in a Court-appointed or related departed or three years of administrative experience in a comparable environment. One year of supervisory experience in a Court department preferred. Substantial knowledge and understanding of the laws, rules and procedures governing workflow and case flow within Court Administration. Considerable knowledge of the organization, functions, jurisdiction and authority of the courts and criminal court related departments. Significant proficiency in the use of automated information and case management systems and applications, such as (or like) CPCMS, MDJS, Laserfiche, the Prothonotary Database, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel. Ability to recognize, understand and describe complex court processes, and to dissect those processes into separate steps and procedures and to make decisions about document routing, scheduling issues and attorney and pro se litigant questions, to name a few. Ability to think independently in solving work-related problems. Ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions. Willingness and ability to adapt to changing needs of the court and to adjust process appropriately. Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with judges, attorneys, arresting agencies, staff and the public Exercise good judgement, proven customer service skills, tact and courtesy. Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
