General Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Coordinator for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, the Coordinator serves as the operational lead for communication access services and provides direct support for Deaf & Hard of Hearing accommodations. Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required, as the incumbent regularly communicates directly with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, faculty, staff, interpreters, and service providers. This position is in-person and functions as the primary backup to the Senior Coordinator and helps ensure continuity of operations across communication access requests, interpreter and captioning services, vendor management, event accessibility, and departmental compliance initiatives.
