The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) serves some of Orange County's most vulnerable student populations and provides support and mandated fiscal oversight to 28 school districts serving more than 600 schools and approximately 475,000 students. In addition to providing direct instruction to students through its own alternative and special education programs, OCDE administers an array of programs and services that are critical to the operations of local school districts and community colleges, facilitating professional development, legal guidance, payroll, career and technical education support, high-speed internet access, Local Control and Accountability Plan assistance and approval, resources for families, and student enrichment. Job Summary

The Orange County Department of Education is seeking a Coordinator, Educational Services to provide leadership and oversight for the Clear Administrative Services Credential (CASC) and Teacher Induction programs. This position supervises and supports staff, coordinates program implementation, monitors candidate progress, and ensures the delivery of high-quality educational services. Working collaboratively with school districts and educational partners, the Coordinator provides individualized coaching and support to candidates, oversees professional learning opportunities, and promotes continuous program improvement to ensure an engaging, responsive, and impactful experience for current and aspiring educators.

Education, Training and Experience: Education: Master's degree in education, education administration, behavior management, or a related field. Experience: Five (5) years of educational experience, including two (2) years of administrative service in a public-school setting. Credential: A valid California credential authorizing instruction or service in a public school program. A Valid California Administrative credential. Include specific examples of your role, responsibilities, and the strategies you used to support candidate growth and successful completion of the induction program. 2. Please describe your experience supporting California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) program operations and compliance. In your response, describe your experience in accreditation activities, Common Standards and Program Standards review. Additionally, describe any experience you have developing, expanding, or implementing credentialing or induction programs. Include examples of how you collaborated with educational partners to ensure programs met CTC requirements while supporting program growth and sustainability. Answering supplemental questions give applicants the opportunity to expand on relevant background and helps us better screen applicant qualifications for the position.
