The Academic Advisor provides comprehensive academic advising and student support to a diverse population of undergraduate students at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC). This position assists students with academic planning, degree progression, course selection, and interpretation of university policies to promote timely degree completion and student success. This position also collaborates with faculty, staff, and academic departments at both the Utah Asia Campus and the University of Utah's Salt Lake City campus to ensure students receive accurate, consistent, and student-centered advising. The position supports the University's commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds can succeed academically and personally. It reports to the Assistant Director of the Academic Advising Center (AAC), a division within UAC Academic Affairs.
Housing in Korea will be provided to eligible international hires who require visa sponsorship and relocation to South Korea. Visa sponsorship will also be provided. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must be eligible for a work visa in South Korea.

U Asia Campus is part of a multi-university campus in New Songdo City, Incheon, South Korea. The city has a well-established transportation network, including Incheon International Airport, which allows easy travel to international destinations, as well as a convenient subway to Seoul within an hour. U Asia Campus is recognized as a top global education hub in Northeast Asia and around the world, with access to the University of Utah's diverse faculty, staff, and creative academic culture at the Asia Campus. U Asia Campus hosts several undergraduate programs, including Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Games, Communication, Film and Media Arts, Accounting, Information Systems, Psychology, and Urban Ecology. All non-language courses are conducted in English.
