Job Title: Coordinator Field Service Specialist 2_Field Svc Ops Location: Remote (PST or CST Preffered) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Pay Rate Range: $35 – $40/hr on W2
Position Overview The Field Service Operations Coordinator serves as the primary contact for customer service requests, spare parts orders, and field service activities, ensuring high customer satisfaction while meeting operational objectives. Operating in a remote environment, this role works closely with customers, field service engineers, service managers, manufacturing facilities, and internal support functions across North America to handle scheduling, order management, billing, and system updates.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Order Management: Process customer service requests and spare parts orders; create and manage sales orders and projects within SAP.
Field Service Coordination: Schedule field service visits, align spare parts availability and production schedules with delivery timelines, and coordinate dispatch operations.
Financial & Billing Support: Support billing, revenue recognition, cost planning, and accurate documentation in compliance with SOX requirements.
System & Customer Records: Maintain updated customer profiles and service data in Salesforce and ServiceMax.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate across cross-functional teams including manufacturing plants, shipping, sales, and field service management to resolve operational roadblocks.
Qualifications & Requirements Essential:
3+ years of experience in service operations, customer service, field service coordination, or order management.
Hands-on proficiency with SAP (sales orders, project management, billing, supply chain).
Experience using Salesforce.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluency in English.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.
Desirable:
Experience with ServiceMax.
Background in spare parts logistics, inventory tracking, and field scheduling.
Understanding of revenue recognition and cost planning within SAP.
Industry background in manufacturing, industrial equipment service, or technical services.
