With more than 12,000 students, Augusta is a hub for cybersecurity, experiential learning, and a world‑class academic health center.Job Information Job ID: 297129Location: Summerville CampusFull/Part Time: Full TimeJob Summary This role will assist with advising, programming, and recruitment for the more than 300 students involved in Fraternity and Sorority Life. It supports increased student engagement, compliance monitoring, and intentional leadership development.Responsibilities COUNCIL ADVISING & STUDENT SUPPORT: Serve as the primary advisor for one council, coaching staff, coordinating meetings, training, documentation, and providing timely communication to ensure accountability.PROGRAMMING & EVENT EXECUTION: Plan, coordinate, and execute programs, initiatives, and signature events in alignment with university policies. Develop timelines, run‑of‑show documents, logistics plans, and post‑event follow‑ups.INTAKE OVERSIGHT & RISK MANAGEMENT: Oversee intake logistics, ensure compliance with guidelines, manage documentation, approve timelines, and monitor risk concerns.ASSESSMENT, DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE: Maintain accurate records for council operations, track training and compliance, and convene data for reporting and decision‑making.COLLABORATION & TEAM SUPPORT: Work with the Assistant Director and Director, share insights, support cross‑council initiatives, and maintain a visible presence with students.Perform all other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in education, working with students, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university, experience with registered student organizations or university event planning, and knowledge of student development theory.Skills and Abilities Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to relate easily with people and project confidence and competence.Ability to handle stressful situations with ease and professionalism.Willingness to adjust schedule for councils and student programs.Understanding and commitment to a welcoming campus community.Shift / Salary / Benefits Physical abilities to perform all job duties. Shift: Days, Monday‑Friday (work outside standard business hours may be required). Salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range. Recruitment Period: Until Filled.
