Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION: The part-time Coordinator, Holistic Student Support coordinates the daily operations of the campus food pantry and clothing closet by providing student support services, managing resources and inventory, coordinating community partnerships, and supporting outreach efforts to enhance access to basic needs resources. Maintains program documentation, assists with service delivery, and promotes a welcoming and supportive environment for students.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Coordinates the daily operations of the campus food pantry and clothing closet by assisting with student services, organization, and maintaining a welcoming and respectful environment.2. Assists the students accessing pantry services by completing check-in/check-out processes, providing guidance, and maintaining confidentiality of student information.3. Manages inventory tracking processes by monitoring food, clothing, and supply levels, maintaining records, and coordinating restocking efforts.4. Coordinates the receipt, organization, and distribution of donated and purchased items to ensure resources are properly maintained and available to students.5. Serves as a liaison with community partners and nonprofit organizations to support collaboration and effective delivery of student resources.6. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized pantry environment by following established health, safety, and operational procedures.7. Provides basic needs support to students by identifying needs and connecting students with appropriate campus and community resources.8. Maintains documentation of student services, referrals, and program activities to support reporting and program effectiveness.9. Coordinates scheduling and logistics for nonprofit partners participating in the Raider CARE Village.10. Assists with collecting program data and tracking participation outcomes for reporting and assessment purposes.11. Supports outreach and engagement efforts by promoting food pantry and student support services through campus events, communications, and informational materials.12. Collaborates with campus departments and partners to increase awareness and accessibility of basic needs resources for students.13. Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Associate's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution in Social Work, Education, Public Health, or a related field. 2. Two (2) years of experience in customer service, administrative support, student support services, nonprofit/community services, or a similar field.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Experience working with food pantries or similar field.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:1. Knowledge of inventory management, recordkeeping, and basic administrative procedures.2. Ability to provide customer service and communicating effectively with students, partners, and other organizations.3. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.4. Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to anticipate outcomes.5. Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to become proficient in teams/zoom.6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.8. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.9. Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor.10. Committed to working in a multicultural environment.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:1. Work is performed primarily inside the office. 2. May be required to travel to different campus locations.3. Hours will vary (days, evenings, weekends).4. Regularly moves, lifts, carries, and organizes food, clothing, donated goods, and supplies. May be required to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.5. Performs frequent bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, standing, walking, and repetitive hand and arm movements while stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and distributing supplies. 6.
